Book launch a mecca for the Maccas
It was a McCartney family affair last night at the launch of Mary McCartney’s vegetarian recipe book Food, at Liberty in Great Marlborough Street. “None of us knew she had a book coming out until recently,” said sister Stella, who turned out with husband Alasdhair Willis and brother James, along with Twiggy and Jools Holland. Sir Paul and his wife Nancy drove up for the occasion from Sussex, where the former Beatle had spent the day working on a song. “I’ve been working on it for some time,” he told the Londoner. A composition for the Olympic opening ceremony? No, it’s “a song for a video game”. Sir Paul was also overheard boasting about his daughter’s culinary expertise. “My favourite is the lasagne,” he said while thumbing through the book looking for the recipe, only to be told by Mary that it wasn’t in there. “Don’t worry,” she reassured him. “I’ll make you one.”

WOW I have to admit that James is doing a lot of effort to slim down and look presentable,I have in the past been very critical of his looks but I think he is looking much better.
