WHAT: The annual lighting of Stella McCartney's Christmas lights.
WHERE: The Stella McCartney store on Bruton Street in London.
WHO: Mary McCartney and Stella's husband Alasdhair Willis - who stood in for the girl of honour as she awaited the arrival of her fourth child - Pam Hogg, Jo and Leah Wood, Alison Mosshart and Catherine Tate as her foul-mouthed Nan character.
REFRESHMENTS: Mini mince pies, chocolate Champagne truffles, festive Pez sweet dispensers, Champagne, grapefruit and Tanqueray No. Ten cocktails and McCartney's customary pints of Guinness.
HOT TOPICS: There was plenty of talk surrounding Stella's new arrival and whether she's expecting a girl or a boy. Virginia Bates told us that the mum-to-be celebrated her baby shower last week.
