SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Employees of a central New York trucking company have had a surprise visitor — Sir Paul McCartney.
Local media outlets report that the former Beatle accompanied his wife, Nancy Shevell, during her visit to the Syracuse area Wednesday for a business meeting at New England Motor Freight’s operations in suburban DeWitt.
Shevell is the vice president of administration for the company owned by her father, Myron Shevell.
The reports say McCartney and Nancy Shevell flew into Syracuse on a private jet and spent several hours in the area, including having lunch with company employees. Photos of McCartney with groups of workers have been posted on Facebook pages and Syracuse media websites.
