Stella McCartney’s red carpet monopoly at the GQ Men of the Year Awards
Stars flocked to wear Stella McCartney's slimming designs at the male-dominated GQ Men of the Year Awards in London last night.

She has a hat-trick of nominations up well-tailored sleeve for this year's British Fashion Awards (her brand being shortlisted for Designer of the Year, Designer Brand and the Red Carpet Award) and it's easy to see why.
Stella McCartney dressed four femme fatales at GQ's male-dominated Men of the Year Awards last night - five, if you include the designer herself.
A triumvirate of celebrities - gold-winning cyclist Victoria Pendleton, singer Katherine Jenkins and socialite Heather Kerzner - all fell for black dresses from McCartney's 'London Evening Collection', in particular the figure-hugging black style with flesh-coloured panels positioned around the sides. The brilliant 'Brigitt' design gives the wearer the illusion of slenderness (not that this trio need it) as the sheer fabric snakes around the torso.
Pendleton, who sported McCartney's Team G.B kit during the Olympic Games, accessorised her Brigitt with a brass belt while svelte Kerzner kept it simple. Jenkins meanwhile opted for the floor-sweeping variation to show off the figure she toned on U.S TV contest Dancing with the Stars .
Then there was McCartney herself, acting as an immaculate walking, talking advertisement for her brand in a black strapless jumpsuit from her spring 2013 range with husband Alasdhair Willis on her arm. And just to make sure all McCartney's collections were covered, in walked Louise Redknapp, resplendent in a shiny jacquard, brocade-print dress from the designer's autumn/winter 2012 collection.
If that's not a fast-track to British Fashion Awards victory, we don't know what is.
